Why did nobody ever tell me there's a sequel to The Adventures of Tom Sawyer where Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and Jim travel to Africa in a hot air balloon?

The book is terrible, that's why nobody mentioned it. Tom Sawyer Abroad has none of the charm or appeal of Mark Twain's more famous books. This is just hackwork. It's bad from the first page to the last.
