Better than the average novella--better even than the average Silverberg story. Not great, but worth a read. It was probably more innovative and new when it was published, but since then others have written stories exploring similar themes. So I didn't see much I hadn't seen before. It's a classic tale of an advanced civilization that has fantastic wealth and nearly absolute control over the physical world. These people resurrect the great ancient cities of the world as sort of living amusement parks for themselves. Fun.
