Space Demons

On the surface, Space Demons is about kids playing a computer game that pulls them into the game itself. Can they defeat the game and rescue their friend Mario, who is trapped inside the computer?

But also on the surface, Space Demons is about the emotional turmoil of the lives of young teenagers, whose family lives and friendships are complex, difficult, and disappointing. It's almost too much. It is too much. I suggest a little less angst and a little more gameplay. But still, a good book.
