In the 1990s, Colombia was filled with violence. Drug wars and a culture of violence penetrated everywhere, even (and especially) in the prisons. This is the story of how Jesus Christ came into the prisons, changed people's hearts, and brought about dramatic reformation.
David Miller tells us about the brave Christians who went into those prisons to preach the gospel. He tells of miraculous protection--how God's messengers were able to walk (literally) blood-drenched prison halls untouched and unharmed. Later, we also hear about martyrs.
The story isn't done. God is still at work in Colombia, and the book makes that clear. God has accomplished much, but much is left to do.
