My Early Life is my grandfather's autobiography. It covers his childhood and his early adult life up through his marriage and ordination. He briefly recounts his military service as a chaplain in WWII, then ends in 1946 with his travel to Burma as a missionary. The missionary years are covered in his next book, On the Back Road to Mandalay.
