Sweltering.

I read this book while on vacation at the lake. I started reading the book in the living room of the rented lake house, but it didn’t feel right for Tombstone Jack Kavanaugh, Mouzi, and Bai Suzhen to be suffering in the tropical heat while I was in the cool air conditioning. I moved out to the deck and continued reading in the sweltering Texas summer heat. Much better.
