Commodore John Grimes tracks down and busts a drug smuggling ring in the Rim. It's a boring book, made passably interesting only because of Grimes's continual complaining about how he doesn't think drugs should actually be illegal and he resents being given this assignment. Grimes shows a little more zeal when he discovers Drongo Kane is involved, but it still didn't hold my interest.
